Welcome! Here at Geoverse Science, you can participate in a worldwide exchange of information and data regarding the Concave Earth. In case you don't know much about the concave earth, here's a short summary: We Live On The Inside. The Concave Earth (aka Geoverse) is a proposed model in which the earth is a hollow ball and we all live on the inside surface of this hollow ball -- in the Concavity of the earth. The entire universe of sun, moon, stars is confined to the inside of the earth, not on the outside. Reality is inverted from the common perception and thought of people today.
On this forum, Concave Earth Scientists can freely publish their ideas of what might explain certain phenomena in the Concave Earth as well as experiments that test these ideas. This forum follows the scientific method in a similar way to a peer reviewed scientific journal. This means that every idea given to explain something about the Geoverse must go through a rigorous examination process where bad ideas are weeded out, leaving only the confirmed scientific theories concerning the Concave Earth.
The following is how the forum works:
Generic thoughts and speculations that attempt to explain phenomena in the Geoverse must be posted in Musings. More well thought out ideas must be posted in Pending Hypotheses. After a submission under "Pending Hypotheses" has been reviewed by an administrator (for whether or not it meets the submission rules in that category), it will either be left there for an admin to PM the author with suggested edits or it will be promoted to Hypotheses. No direct post can be made to "Hypotheses". When someone tests a Hypothesis (which must be under "Hypotheses" not "Pending Hypotheses"), they must submit their results under Pending Experiments. After it has been reviewed by an administrator (for whether or not it meets the submission rules in that category), it will either be left there for an admin to PM the author with suggested edits or it will be promoted to Experiment Data. No direct post can be made to "Experiment Data". Depending on whether or not confirmed experiments confirm or refute a hypothesis, the hypothesis in question will be either bumped up to Confirmed Theories or be brought down to Discredited Hypotheses. But in order for a hypothesis to be bumped up or brought down to either "Confirmed Theories" or "Discredited Hypotheses", at least five experiments in "Experiment Data" must be there and in agreement from at least five different people. No direct post can be made to either "Confirmed Theories" or "Discredited Hypotheses". After a hypothesis has been brought down to "Discredited Hypotheses", it will remain there as an idea to avoid. If the author of the hypothesis (or someone else, as long as they give proper credit) wants to salvage his or her hypothesis, he or she must create a new hypothesis under "Pending Hypotheses" with at least one measurable difference from the original one. This new revision of the hypothesis will go through the same peer reviewed process all over again. But if the hypothesis in question is brought up to "Confirmed Theories", then a short summary of the Theory will be given by an admin under Scientific Explanations linking the summary to the more detailed submission under "Confirmed Theories". This is the end of the road for a successful scientific idea, but others are welcome to continue to test it under "Pending Experiments". No direct post can be made to "Scientific Explanations".
Replies can be made to submissions in "Musings", "Pending Hypotheses", and "Pending Experiments". But be warned that when a hypothesis or experiment is moved from "Pending Hypotheses" or "Pending Experiments" to another category, all replies will be removed with the hypothesis or experiment that was pending (but would now be somewhere else). All posts must be written in metric format. If there is a particular experiment that uses US measurements, please convert it to metric.
